On Saturday, 7 June 2025, WeTrade treated some guests to a motorsport experience like no other at the Sepang International Circuit. Held during Round 5 of the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia (PCCA), our "Exclusive Hospitality" event wasn’t just about watching a race, it was about living it. 

 

 

From Spectator to Insider: The Full Scoop 

Our guests started the day with premium circuit access, courtesy of our partner Phantom Global Racing (PGR), catching the excitement of the Qualifying Rounds right from the heart of the action. 

But that was just the beginning. 

WeTrade guests were given an exclusive Behind-the-Scenes Tour, personally led by PGR’s rising star Josh Rowledge and Antoine, PGR’s Communications & Commercial Director. Together, they gave guests a firsthand look at the inner workings of a professional race day; explaining car setups, walking through the pit area, and offering a closer look at the cutting-edge Porsche GT3 Cup car. 

 

 

Meet the Racing Stars 

Next came the chance to meet the faces under the helmets. 

WeTrade arranged a rare joint Q&A session with Josh and Malaysian drift queen Leona Chin. They opened up about their racing journey, and the discipline it takes to stay focused. 

 

 

Down-to-earth and approachable, Josh impressed guests not just with his talent, but with his humility and passion for the sport.  

On his race-day rituals, Josh shared: “I usually start preparing both physically and mentally about one to two weeks before a race. It keeps me focused and ready.” 

Leona’s quiet charisma was as infectious as her fearlessness on the track. With over a decade of experience in the male-dominated racing world, Leona has paved her own path to success with podium finishes on international circuits. 

When asked what got her into racing, she shared with a smile, “I used to hang around with a lot of car guys… that’s how I got into the racing world,” lighting the room up with laughter. 

After the session, guests had the chance to chat, take selfies, and get autographs from Josh and Leona, creating real connections with the racing stars.  

 

 

Golden Hour, Grid Walk, and an Epic Race 

As the sun began to dip, anticipation grew. Before the race, our guests joined the Grid Walk. In the world of motorsports, it was a rare opportunity to walk the very track where the cars would soon roar into life. Guests took photos beside the PCCA cars, posed with grid models, and soaked in the golden-hour buzz as the teams made final preparations. 

Then, at 7:10 PM, Round 5 of the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia kicked off with a thrilling 13-lap showdown. The engines ignited, the sky turned to twilight, and the race was on. Watching from the VIP zone, our guests felt every gear shift, every overtake, every surge of adrenaline. For many, it was their first time experiencing motorsport at this level, and it was unforgettable.
